At the end of each academic year I send out questionnaires to my seniors and their parents asking for feedback. One of the questions is what could have made their experience with us better?
And do you know what the number one response is?
“We wish we had started working with you earlier.”
We start working with students as young as 9th grade but most often get hired when the student is a sophomore or junior. What is the advantage of starting to work with us earlier?
We can provide complete guidance to the student throughout high school to make sure that they are taking the right classes, taking the standardized tests when they need to do so and are engaging in the right activities. You don’t have to guess if one activity is better than another because we can tell you what is preferred. And we can answer all of your questions so you don’t have to rely on questionable information from sites like College Confidential.
Do you have to start working with us that early? No, absolutely not. We have great results from the students that we start working with as juniors as well as the ones that we have spent more time with. But the students that get involved earlier are often better positioned when senior year comes around and have an easier time of working through the application process for all of the colleges.
And the best thing about getting started is that it doesn’t cost you any more. We have the same pricing structure regardless of when we get hired. We do this to encourage students to consider an early start to the process.
So if you have questions about how we can help your student become the most competitive candidate for a BS/MD program, even as young as 9th grade, give us a call.
