Last time I talked about the misperception that residency programs don’t like BS/MD programs. Another misperception is that the length of all BS/MD programs is less than 8 years.
The reality is that about half of the BS/MD programs are full 8 year programs. PLME? 8 years. Rice/Baylor? 8 years. Washington University in St. Louis? 8 years.
The majority of the rest of the programs are 7 year programs. BS/MD programs are not synonomous with accelerated programs.
