Hi everyone, my name is Sandy Rao and I will be interning with Glasgold Group this summer. I had Todd’s guidance and coaching when I was applying to BS/MD and traditional undergraduate programs.
Todd was great during the process; he was friendly, offered helpful edits for my essays, and advice before my interviews. He also introduced me to schools I wouldn’t have otherwise considered. I fell in love with the idea of a small liberal arts college and ultimately decided to attend Hamilton College, a school he suggested, instead of a BS/MD program.
I graduated with a BA in Neuroscience in 2015 and just finished my first year at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. I ignited my passion for working with students through my experience as a public speaking tutor at Hamilton and continue to fuel it as a Medical Education Scholar at Geisel.
After recently going through the application process myself, I know how stressful and competitive applying to medical schools can be. Todd helped alleviate a lot of my family’s stress during the process and I am excited for the opportunity to do the same for future medical students.

Hello Sandy-
We are considering this group for bs / md – is there data where at least one student gets one acceptance into bs / md? Any data you have would be helpful
Todd Johnson says
Jehanara,
Thanks for the note. Sandy was just with us during the summer and is back in medical school. We have worked with literally hundreds of students applying to BS/MD programs and the majority of those students have been accepted into at least one program.

Hi Todd, any hope or chance for international student on any of no mcat requirement medical school in USA.
Todd Johnson says
John,
Realistically while a few medical schools say you don’t have to have an MCAT score almost none of them actually take students without an MCAT except in very unusual circumstances. For the BS/MD programs, there are only about 11 programs that take international students but most of these take very few international students so it isn’t something you can count on.

Hello Todd,
In your response to John’s comment, you mentioned that there were about 11 programs in the US that accepted international students into their BS/MD program. Could you please list out these 11 programs? Thank you.
