The City University of New York (CUNY) has announced that they will be starting a new medical school in partnership with St. Barnabas Hospital in New York City. The first class will start at the medical school in the Fall of 2016. This will be an expansion of the BS/MD program that CUNY currently has with Sophie Davis and several other medical schools.
Since CUNY will now have their own medical school they will be discontinuing the BS/MD program relationships that they have with the associated medical schools.
I am waiting to hear if they will still have a BS/MD program as part of their new medical school and will let you know once I hear any information.
