I have found another BS/MD program, this one located at the University of Oklahoma. The Medical Humanities Program is a partnership between the University of Oklahoma Honors College and the College of Medicine.
The program is designed to admit 5 incoming freshman although the Honors College may petition for an additional 3 freshman. This is designed as an 8 year program although students may complete the program in 7 years under some circumstances.
To advance to the medical school students need to have undergraduate GPA’s and MCAT scores equal to or higher than the average of the previous years entering class. For comparison purposes this past years median GPA at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine was 3.78 overall and the median MCAT score was a 30.
The website makes no mention of a residency requirement but in general terms, most programs at public colleges give substantial preference to in state students.
