The best part of applying through College Admissions Partners is that they narrow down the list to a few BS/MD programs where the student is more likely to be accepted into based on their credentials and that makes our process a lot easier. Also their help with the Interview process is amazing. They did a very good job in preparing both my children prior to their interviews. (Note from Todd: We had previously worked with this family and helped an older student get admitted to a BS/MD program)
We were looking for a counselor who was well versed in BS/MD school programs and also realistic, direct and focused. You met all the criteria.
The most helpful part of working with you was your help with the essays esp. medical specific ones. Your turnaround and professionalism was amazing. At no time did you take more than 24hrs to reply.
I knew that working with someone who has a lot of experience in admissions and is aware of all of the BA/BS MD programs would give me the highest chance of getting into the programs that I was interested in. Based on the reviews I had heard from your previous clients and also on the information I read in your book, I thought you would be the right person to work with.
Being able to really understand what all the programs are looking for in the application was extremely useful. Having a clear-cut plan that fit what each school was looking for helped me tremendously.
I enjoyed working with you, and I appreciate all of your help. I was admitted to almost every school to which I applied, and I was left with some very tough decisions. The results of this process exceeded my expectations.
Your quick and prompt response, clear and concise response to questions and essays feedbacks were very helpful. Never said this is too much…kept working with our student.
Gave valuable feedback for interviews. Coached during the course selection and college selection process.
Always had positive attitude.
I feel that I would not have been prepared at all for my interviews if I didn’t have your help. During the mock interviews, you knew exactly how the interviewers would react to my responses. It definitely helped having another person’s perspective, so I felt much more prepared and confident before my interviews. I also had no idea how to write a college essay because I didn’t know what admissions officers were looking for. You definitely helped me figure out what I wanted to write about and how to write about it in an entertaining and insightful way.
The process of college applications can be very stressful, especially so for me because I am the first person in my family to go through it, and it was very reassuring to have someone that is an expert guide me during every step. Because of you, I also found out about a lot of great schools that I normally would not have applied to because I had never heard of them. At my high school, most students tend to apply only to top name schools, but there are many other schools that would have been a better match for me so I am glad I found out about them.
On my school’s Naviance page, there is a section to add the contact information of college counselors that students found helpful, and I have submitted your information.
Once again, thank you for all of your help! I honestly don’t think I would be going to George Washington University without your guidance!
Proof reading the essays and preparing students for the interview is the (part) we liked most. I think you are doing great with the type of help you are giving to the students.
Definitely we will recommend you to other students/parents. We already informed about your services to our friends.
Overall we are very happy with your help and we wish you success in future.
I would say the most helpful part of the process was the essay help I received. When I started writing my essays, I was not sure of what would be appropriate to include (especially for the direct med programs). For example, I remember one tip you gave me for the common app essay was to stay clear of listing off the extracurricular activities, since that information would be available to the admissions officers in another section.
The help and information I received both about essay writing and about interview preparation is instrumental to everyone, at some point, all students will go through this process.
The interview preparation was very helpful!
Your critiques of my essays were incredibly helpful. When I was starting out, I didn’t know how to create the statement that best captured my interests, passions, and strengths; your suggestions gave me the courage to alter the course of my essays quite a bit from the scattered ideas I first began with. Your advice allowed me to develop and mature my writing, from its structure to its tone and depth. I ended up writing an essay I loved. I couldn’t have done that alone!
I really appreciated having access to your knowledge about BS/MD programs. As an applicant, it can often be difficult to find such specific information. You were always there to answer any questions I had.
Thank you so much for being so attentive and helpful this year. I know it couldn’t have been easy to keep track of all those schools I wanted to apply to. I owe my acceptance letter from Brown to you!
My wife and I would say a big THANK to you as the counselor. For more than half a year, not just R. but also we parents, learned something that can’t be found anywhere else about college application; which, no doubt, is much valuable. I appreciate your help! Being available all the time is not easy. Thanks!
The part that helped B. in getting into an accelerated medical program, while working with you, was the “List of colleges” you had made out for her. Before sending her Resume over to you we had a totally different list of BS/MD programs on our minds. You really made it very easy by customizing the list based on B.’s credentials.
You did an amazing job throughout, from essays to the interviews.
I would definitely recommend you to anyone who is willing to apply to accelerated medical programs, or to any college of their choice. You exactly pinpoint as to what needs to be done to improve a student’s chances of getting into their top choice colleges.
Please do not hesitate to let me know if I can talk to anyone over the phone and recommend you. We sincerely appreciate all your help and we will get in touch with you for our son in near future.
